Never Ever Give Up (NEGU)-In Honor Of Jessica Joy Rees

Dearest daughter,

Sometimes you may feel that life is too difficult to manage;  like there are huge mountains to climb or expansive ravines to cross.  You may not believe that you have the strength to make it through.  You may feel that you can’t find peace no matter what you do.  I want you to promise me to never lose hope.  Never ever give up.  Just because life throws you some difficult challenges doesn’t mean that you should stop playing the game.  Whether it is difficulties with your health, your marriage, your job, your children…troubles will come.  But His promise to us is for eternal life after death…after this earthly place we call home…a place we sometimes just don’t understand.  Jesus asks us to not worry but instead believe.  John 14:1 says, “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.”

I want you to do me a favor.  Look up Jessica Joy Rees online and read her story. Think about what you might be facing and ask yourself.  “Is it worth it giving up? Against all odds, am I going to just quit or am I going to remain faithful to God knowing that He has a bigger plan that I can’t see?”  These are tough questions to ask yourself but they are necessary to ask.  What do you think about Jessica Joy Rees’ story?  Does it inspire you to remain strong no matter what?

Many moments I have had to ask myself those questions.   My experience in life has been that God is bigger than anything I face.  He has a greater plan than what I see in front of me.  He knows better than I do.  So I remain faithful  knowing that sometimes I need time or distance to see the situation for what it really is.  Remember:  just a little faith can take you a long way.
